In this session, we will discuss the higher education cybersecurity landscape in Louisiana, focusing on Louisiana Tech University and the University of Louisiana System. Specifically, we will highlight the Student Security Operations Center (SOC) at Louisiana Tech, as well as the collaboration between the university's information technology department and its faculty. The SOC provides students with valuable hands-on experience to help them prepare for the challenges of modern cybersecurity. We will also share information about the programs that Louisiana Tech is developing with the help of this SOC.
