Scott Clark, M.Ed. has been the Director of Media and Instructional Technology (MITD) for the School District of Osceola County (SDOC), Florida since Nov. 2015. SDOC has over 60,000 students and over 8,000 employees. Scott began his career with SDOC and draws from his experience as a classroom teacher, instructional technology specialist, resource specialist, Assistant Principal and Principal. Currently, Scott is a key member of the SDOC Information and Technology Division, as well as a participant of the SDOC Teaching & Learning Team. Scott oversees MITD and its 40 employees, better known across the state of Florida as the "Green Shirts." SDOC was ranked in the top-ten in the Large Student Population District Category in the United States for 2018 for its use of technology by the Center for Digital Education (CDE) and the National School Board Association (NSBA). His department has been a key part of that success. Also, Scott is the current president of the Florida Council of instructional Technology Leaders.
