Generative AI is reshaping teaching, learning, assessment, and academic integrity, yet many institutions still rely on fragmented or one-time faculty training. This session presents a research-informed program planning model for developing scalable, ethical, and sustainable Gen AI faculty development. Grounded in instructional design and program planning principles, the model guides institutions through five phases: preparation, planning, analysis, implementation, and evaluation. Attendees will explore practical approaches for assessing faculty readiness, aligning training with institutional goals and policies, designing accessible professional learning, and evaluating outcomes. Participants will leave with an actionable structure they can adapt to their own institutional context.
